Autobox upgrade lovely,
Cruise control working...

This morning.. Check engine light  :(

Happened soon after the engine got up to temperature when accelerating on about 1/2 throttle. Running normally AFAIK and didn't disappear aftyer a restart :'(

It'll have to take it back to the dealer and get the code read.

How much is the dealer charging for code reads?

Might be worth getting a cheapo tech2 lead.

In theory it's under warranty so hopefully nothing, although there's bound to be a clause in the warranty that excludes it, of course!

Hope he doesn't notice it's sprouted a cruise control stalk since I bought it  :-[

Any recommendations? If this is going to be a regular occurrence I'm sure one will come in handy.

Is an evening course in Hungarian for mechanics still required?

Taxi driver has one, was very straight forward all English...

He then hit the code read button, and it told you the codes, but then something in german.

Just have to note down the numbers then compare on a code list.

You need an old laptop or something, with a real com port.

USB to Com adaptors don't work very well with it, if at all!

Any OBD2 scanner will work for you, doesn't have to be Tech2.  I was gonna offer, but Isle of Wight is a bit far for me!
