i get the constant noise when the key is lest in ignition and driver door opens. the siren one is when the signal stalk is left or right(also parking light on one side) and if the headlights are on or parking lights

It's not an 'indicator on' warning, it's to let you know the parking lights are on.
The parking lights are activated when the indicator stalk is up or down and the ignition is off.
Most Vauxhalls have this feature...
I don't get any noise when I leave the indicator on and take my keys out and can't say I have ever heard it on any of my cars and the neighbours could probably vouch for that by the amount of times they've knocked on my door to tell me i've left my lights on ;D

Tone doesn't sound until the door is opened, with indicator on.   :-/

My 2001 omega has it as does my 97 vectra. My understanding is that its a parking light is on warning.

It does sound like a good idea, wish I had one. I suppose it may even just be a case of fitting a relay somewhere?  ::)

far easier & cheaper to give your car a cursory glance as you walk away from  it.   ::)  ;)

Yeah, I get the buzzer for the side lights and key left in ignition but thats about it :(

My 2001 doesn't nor did my '95 or '97

Lights On - Yes
Keys In - Yes
Parking Light (indicator in either position) - No
