Not an omega but help please
« on: 06 November 2009, 19:40:02 »

My 1995 Toyota 4runner has been stood up for a while and both batteries went flat so charged up
As soon as i connect up batteries alarm sounds and vehicle wont start so imobiliser active

My remote key fob has no effect

Does anybody know if i can pair the remote myself or can i bypass and remove the alarm/imobiliser easily

The alarm/imobiliser are factory fitted

Just because the vehicle refuses to start, it doesn't mean the alarm/immobiliser is killing it.

If it's been stood that long then the first thing to do is drain the (now) stale petrol, and give it some fresh.

Also, pull a plug lead and check for spark.
If present, pull a plug and see if it's wet.

Then take it from there.

Do as he says, check for spark first  :y
