Engine managment
« on: 16 June 2009, 18:03:26 »

Hi
My 2.5 v6 has stopped working. It first blew its oil pump so needed a new lump. having replaced it with a good runner you would hope everything would be ok. Not so, since putting the new engine in the engine managment light will not work. I have been through all the connections time and time again. The car has also been to Vauxhall who stated it could be anything and they would play with it at £60.00 per hr. I have removed the instrument binical to check the connections and bulb. I am now at a loss to see where to go next does anyone have any ideas.

cheers

Did the replacement engine come with its ECU, if you are useing the orginal the engine and ECU need to be paired , Tech 2 needed.
