General Discussion Area / Big thanks to tigers_gonads
« on: 07 March 2013, 09:06:38 »
I bought a Stienmetz spoiler of a bloke who was advertising that he was breaking an Omega Elite up in Hull. He sent me a Paypal invoice which I paid and he asked me to arrange the courier which I did for the day he requested and emailed him all the deatils. Anyway, the courier turns up and refuses to take the spoiler because the seller hadn't put my name and address on it, how he expected it to get to me I don't know, so there's £10 down the pan. I told the seller that he would have to go halves with me on the next collection which I thought was fair and he agreed and that was the last I heard from him. I sent him emails and even found him and his company on Facebook and got in touch via there, I even phoned him which he answered and then put the phone down once he knew it was me and everytime I called after that it went to answer machine so I presume he blocked my number. After chatting with Steve (Tigers Gonads) he said he would nip around to the blokes house and last night I got a pm to say he had managed to collect the spoiler for me :)

Steve you a top fella and thank you for going out of your way to help :y

This is what you'll probably find when you remove the inlet manifold or your DTi, it takes some cleaning but it's well worth it ;)

I went to Tesco's on Saturday and they had a 16GB Samsung tablet on display for £99.99 so I said I would have one. The salesperson came back saying they had no stock and that it had been discontinued so I said thats ok i'll take the display one to which she replied that they can't by law sell anything with a memory off display. Anyone know if thats true or not? ???

General Discussion Area / What would you do
« on: 23 January 2013, 13:46:05 »
Every Tuesday night there is a new shape Honda Civic that is parked on the street I live on. The male and female occupants then walk to the pub which is about 150 meters away and around a corner. The car is parked about 8.30 pm and they come back to between 11.15 pm and 11.45 pm. The pub is popular one in a small village but it has a large car park so there's plenty of places to park. Why don't they use the pub car park even in the poor weather conditions, any suggestions?
