Have had a EML light come on and spent a lot of money from exhaust, to Mass air flow meters, to Lamba to cat,and  now I find my self living with the fact light is on.

Well not on all the time like the wifes Astra it comes on for let say 3 days then gos out ,out fot 1/2/6 days then back on infact when it stays out i now think there is some thing wrong.

Now the question, because the car at all times drives like a dream runs like only a Omega can,that is a car that I cant think what i would want to replace it with.
 Am I doing harm to may car by ignoring the light, and driving the car has if there was no light on.

It needs proper diagnosis. Poor diagnosis has led you to spend unneeded money, and possibly bin your genuine cat for an inadequate pattern part?
