Need help making a list
« on: 14 September 2013, 19:05:04 »

Right, here goes  :D

Sat on the side of my house is my old pfl estate which started off as a 2.5 manual and ended up as a full cream 3ltr manual.

The Diff is the standard (confirmed by jimbob) 3.7 ratio.

My new shed is a 02 plate 3.2 mv6 auto with lots of toys off the options list  :)

Okay the cunning plan is during the next year, I intend to convert the new car to a manual.

Before every bugger kicks off, quite frankly i'm pish board of the car in its current guise and i'm going to loose the will to live unless I can start interacting with a gearstick / clutch again  :)
Yes, its handy when i'm around town but once I find a nice A or B road, I want to frigging DRIVE it not just steer it from A to B  ;)
Also i'm sick and tired of only getting 16 mpg (on lpg) around town.
With the 3ltr, I was continually getting at least 20 mpg and around 28 on a run.

Now back to the list  ::)

What parts on the old car can I remove and use on my little project ?

Also will the new car need a chat with a tech2 straight away afterwards or is this something that can be done later on when i've got the funds  :-[

Any advise greatfully accepted

Tia
