Nobody can find one.  Nice and clapped out S series are 2 words not for the same sentence.

I mentioned a while back that wifey was keen to trade her astra for an A class, but that's not going to happen while things are the way they are. Took out another 12 month Vauxhall warranty on it  last week, £280 for a car in its fifth year isn't bad.

It’s not exactly mint, but equally it is presentable and use able. No rips in the seats, no real rust in the shell. 82,000, recently serviced, a years Mot and four brand new premium tyres.

Would consider offers around £1,250 :y Which is less than a knackered Focus with no MoT :D

If someone just gets the 12 months out of it, it's worth that.

'Fookin ell'.....the warranty on my Tata was about £1100 each year.

It's not fair. :-X

Two things:
1) The parts on your Tata were much more expensive
2) The Tata is much more likely to go wrong than the astra.

Both of my XFR were 'reasonably reliable' :)

I'm guessing an old XJ6/12 thrown together in the seventies by Coventry communists would have produced more warranty claims.  :-X ::)

I was thinking of getting another auto (slush box only mind you), but, with the crazy prices, SWMBO not driving at the moment and the fact the Vectra is going well, i think i'll keep my wallet firmly closed.

Yep....prices are crazy.

Hopefully it will calm down like teenage acne, given a year or two.

My car may not last a year or two, and my dog won't fit in Al's car.  :(
