Which gates Gates Timing Belt Kit is the correct one
Search results show both Gates Timing Belt Kits K025453XS and K035453XS

Most or possibly all Vauxhall Omega 2.6's will have an engine numbered 08578512 or higher. These all use Gates K035453XS.
This kit has a lower idler without eccentric adjustment.

The K025453XS kit has a lower idler with eccentric adjustment, intended for engines upto 08578511. This kit can still be used without issue on later engines, if you understand the methods of fitment and adjustment.

My engine number is 08584196
So its K035453XS for me
