Retro Fit upgrades...
« on: 20 February 2007, 18:10:24 »

Hi all, thanks for a great website, just got my car and want to make the most of it... so I have learnt that you can retrofit cruisecontrol by adding a new control stalk and tech2 is there any other items that I can retro fit so easy?

What engine size is it - a 2001 is in changeover year.

2.0/2.5/3.0 need actuator unit and cables

2.2/2.6/3.2/2.2dti/2.5td need just stalk and enabling (except 2.5td which is always enabled, and uses a different stalk)

sorry I should have specified the potential obfustication of it being change-over vintage... it COULD be either......  at first glance....

it was the blanket "just add stalk"   that i was responding to.... which is , a little too generalised .....    i suppose my response was as well though.
