And you only get the 'free' stuff if you use their finance... Which probably requires a deposit large enough to cover the new car tax and the dealer 'fees/commissions'...

Got one from Vx yesterday. 0% finance, 12 months insurance, first MOT, 3 years servicing, all free. TBH, that's not a bad package, but I'd have to buy a brand new car to get it, and that will never happen.

Yep.....a £20000 car will probably be worth about half that after 12 months, so your FREE MOT and servicing may prove to be more expensive than you would like.
A £20,000 car is a £16,666 car plus £3,333 VAT. A 6 month old, 5,000 mile example of the same car would probably be about £12,000.
.

Just wouldn't consider spending anything on car purchases at the moment , we hardly use either of them now ,I put fuel in the RR this morning first time for 5 weeks  £62  that's all ,I was using around £75 a week before I retired, can't see the point in having £20-£30,000 just losing value in the garage.

By way of an amusing update, the channel I mentioned before is now looking for its 3rd Defender and second winch.  :o

TBf at least one defender and winch sounds like it's down to the spanner monkeys at their local stealer. And it sounds like the JLR HQ team have been trying to do what they can from afar, but methinks running a YT channel with close to a million subs probably helps grease the wheels.  ::)

Not a good advert for JLR, but why did it take them 2 sooo long to explain the problems... Talk about waffling on to fill air time, was like watching QVC. ;D

They're bringing in around £8k a month from that channel and it isn't their only one  ;)

Simply put, the longer your YT vid, the exponentially more money you make per view.

So yes, 45-75 seconds of content crammed into 16 long minutes  ;D
