I'm with Octopus - my rates up till 31st March were :

Electric:
Unit Rate : 22.42p/kWh
Standing Charge : 45.67p/day (£166.70/year)

Gas:
Unit Rate : 7.16p/kWh
Standing Charge : 26.16p/day (£95.48/year)

Charges exclude VAT, so you've got to add on an extra 5% to get the true cost. Last month was £143, and I was away for one week. No idea what next months rates will be - tiz what it tiz.
