Is that an old Myford ML1 open gearbox lathe I see there. That must be well old, last time I saw one of those I was an MOD toolmaker apprentice.  :D

WRENs ..... as they were at the time ..... were not allowed at sea in my day :y

They hoisted the main engines in Vamp's day ........ that's when Vamps spent his time in the crows nest!  ;D ;D

We didn't see them at HMS Ganges, imagine the effect on a 15 year old junior seaman........ :y :y
