Could well be, I would have expected the temp to be bit higher - I don't think it runs overly hot though, so I won't worry about it just yet. Got to get the aux belt changed first job.
Do the stat whilst you have the viccy fan off - 3 more bolts and one hose ;)

Vx price £22.89 + the dreaded. Not too bad I wouldn't have thought?

I forgot to say, you need to remove a/c belt as well (if applic) to get aux belt off.

First, see how much play is in a/c belt.
The a/c belt tensioner pulley has a plastic cap. Prise off.  Behind is a 13mm bolts, loosen this and tension will be removed, then remove belt.
Refit is similar, only you manually tension belt. A good starting point is the amount of play you had before removal.
