Just of late I've been getting a fair number of e-mails all seem to come from someone different[all with foreign Scandanavian sounding ]names. Most of these are thanking me for my loyalty to Aldi and Morrisons and offering the chance to get £250 of vouchers by clicking on the link or to stop getting the e-mails to click on another link.One was to tell me that I'd won second prize[a Galaxy S20]in a competition I'd entered 4 mths ago and to click on the link to claim the prize or click on a different link to stop getting the e-mail.I've just been deleting the lot of them without clicking on any links.Anyone else getting similar e-mails?

Yes every day including prizes from competitions that I've never entered , I just delete them  not even tempted to open them.

Spam emails happen all the time. Just be careful, even if they come from someone you know.

About 99.9% of emails going through mail systems are spam.

Yes if in doubt definately delete them
There are some clever people around who can send you emails that appear to come from a source you know and the same on text messages.had loads which come up with a id/ person that I know but were never sent by them .and then there's the ever common " you have received a picture message from" type texts that come regularly.

Ive been geeting a lot more spam over the last week or two for some reason. Always delete them no matter what they promise.

Wish I could get random emails from Scandinavia, Don't even get them from a rich uncle from bongo bongo land, who wants to give me $10million dollars, for a penis enlargement in China, so my Russian bride will love me long time..

The second prize in a competition was certainly a surprise as I hadn't entered a competition! good to hear I'm doing the right thing in just deleting them
