Well, a tyre can fail on ( I believe )

Visible damage
Insufficient tread, enough to make it not road legal

Wrong  size?

You got it  :y

Three tyres are 205, fourth was 215  :(

Which i had put on 3 months ago, because of a nail too close to side wall.....but why it was a 215 is beyond me....i dug out the invoice for the tyre, that says i bought a 205.....so either tyre fitter was a complete idiot and blind or they didnt have any 205's in stock and put a 215 on it on purpose ..... either way 3 months down the line i carnt go back and complain  >:(

I could have put the spare on to get it thro the MOT (which got an advisable) and swapped them back over later ..... but as its up for sale i would rather have all its tyres 'ok' than stitch a buyer up.....so it got a new 205 budget  :y

Why not? - you have an invoice for a 205 and a 215 fitted - do they not want ongoing business from you and possibly lots of other taxi drivers? ;)

If i'd have spotted it within a few days, then yes i would go back......but 3 months later....they could say its another tyre.....and not fitted by them....
