Have problems with parking brake.
Something squealed like mad so went to see the mechanic today.
On the back passenger wheel (uk drivers side) one spring on the drum fell off and a retaining pin or something similar is missing so parking brake (one shoe I guess) was rubbing against the inside of the disc.
Now I need the spring and this bloody retaining pin.
These are small parts so was wandering can they be bought separately at all or are some type of kit?

Or just give your VX dealer a call, I bought a new spring from them for a quid or so when one of mine broke.

Vx dealer no but there are quite a few of Opel dealers.
RobG were not that undeveloped country ;D
The only problem is they are bigger stealers than yours in UK.
Need the spring and the securing pin so not sure are those sold separately

Will do if they try to rob me here.
Problem is I have a MOT in 10 days, before that I need to get the lpg tested which last about a week to get all the papers (cannot have MOT without it) and when they the lpg thet MOT the car also (so I need to do two MOTs in two weeks).
MOT cannot be passed with the problematic handbrake.
And if somebody posts it to me from UK it will take at least a week to get here.
Bummer :(
