Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Childseat sensor location
« on: 26 November 2010, 12:38:59 »
Can anyone tell me how to locate childseat sensor on 2001 fl omega?? I conected "My Naff Code Reader" and it shows this sensor malfunction, so i'm planing to find it and try to clean it first, and if that doesn't help i'll have to replace it. I've been looking under passenger seat, but there are also wires of electric seat, heater, belt tensoners, so i am not sure what to unplug. . .

Omega General Help / Re: Throttle Position Sensor problem.

You wan't believe it! Camshaft sensor produced all the problems. And my stupidity. :-[ I had one disconected wire that goes from cam sesnor. I replaced cam sensor with used one, and then discovered that wire. I reconected it and nothing happened. Today i return old cam sensor and all problems disappear. Faulty sensor made all the mess with that fault codes, but now car runs fine. Sory for bothering you for nothing.

Yes, I've got x20xev engine instaled instead of z22xe, but instalation, computer, sensors, electronic throttle and everything else is from original 2.2. Previous owner put this engine in, but I didn't know that when I was buying a car. I read these codes with "My Naff Code Reader", and car is running werry bad. It idle's at 1200, 1300rpm than drops to 600, and sometimes it holds throttle on 1500rpm for 5 10 seconds after i left my foot of the pedal.

Can someone help me?? My Omega started to run verry bad, I read fault codes and I got these :
P0120-Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Circuit 1 Voltage Low
P1120 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Low Input
P1550 - Electronic Throttle Control Reduced Power
Where should I start from? Does this mean? Faulty sensors?

If cam sensor is making trouble, car should not rev over 4.500rpm, and engine should start normaly if it's cold.
