I read that the private firm that was running the place effed off for a couple of days and left them to fend for themselves. Hope it's true.

Lockdown is impossible to enforce , as long as you're not being blatantly stupid you could get away with virtually anything if that floats your boat, the advice given makes sense to me even more now the virus has mutated again may be a boring daily routine but beats struggling for breath or worse.

Cleaned the car this afternoon and took it for a two mile spin to dry the brakes out, as i normally do. Saw three police cars parked up on local industrial estate, off Jct 45 A14. They'd gone when i came back. First time i've used car in over a week as i cycle or walk to go shopping.

I spray my neighbours bins, doors, paths etc with disinfectant FREE OF CHARGE and stay 2 meters minimum away from them 
even before Chinese Virus ,I chopped their overhanging trees down and gave them it all back
I'm very public spirited 

Point I was making was that every time there is a lockdown, the TV and papers are full of tips ,"you can get away with this...if you're exercising .... you can visit one house .... meet uncle in the park ..." 

the point of a lockdown is you interact with as dew people as possible , to stop the virus spreading  .

as far as wildlife goes, I own a tree and some grass
