Hello. I,m not good with forums (or anything coputer wise come to that) so bare with me please.
My Omega is a low mileage 2003 2.216v cdx automatic estate. I bought it as a stop gap but it seams like a nice driver so it.s likely to stay a while. Bought it very cheap, I thought, but now discover brake parts are obsolite along with exhaust sections. It,s going to be a bit of a job I think to get it up to a high standard but with help from you good folks I will get there. I look forwards to to being here.

Hi, and welcome.

Exhaust parts are generally easily available from Poland from the likes of ETS, and tend to be significantly better quality than the last of the GM ones, which really were quite poor.  The don't sound tinny and nasty like, say, Bosal and the like.

Which brake parts are you struggling with?

Hi Grumpy. I,m looking for rear discs. It doesn,t realy need them, the ones fitted are corrored & noisey. The trouble is apparently that the solid discs are either obsolite or going to cost me£201 + vat each. I put a full set on an old P38 not long ago for £100 so I think it,s a bit strong. Iv'e got my son on the case now but he's not finding it too easy I think as he has not called back. Iv'e got 11 months till the MOT so I'm not fretting too much.
