Struth, Steve....they are trusting up there. Down here with those rickety gates, those two would have been 'rustled' years ago.  :o

;D ;D Evidently it's not as grim oop norf as we are lead to believe? Unless, of course, said ponies are both primary mode of transport and home heating system. Snuggle up in winter!

(On a serious note, good on you Steve for doing what you did, you big softie)

I hope his good lady wife doesn't use this expression when the lights go out in the bedroom.

I try not to think about Steve in the bedroom... I really do try.

Aye. "We don't know we're born" is an overused but very true statement. Thanks Aaron.  :)

Tony, there are horses (ponies) tied up everywhere in Yorkshire. Every field, yard or, even, roundabout has horses in/on it. Some of them are very badly neglected, but the RSPCA just hasn't got the resources to rescue them.

the rspca had time the other year to call out to me saying I was "trapping birds"
"yes its an approved magpie trap, notice all the songbirds locally,
you are welcome"

they put a mates dog down when it was handed in to them as "it was old"  admitted they didnt scan it for a chip.
