It was more of a question about the brand of equipment, as I have heard of the Hunter system and I believe Snap On have brought out a system as well....but I have not seen the Jim Bean brand before,and as there is an independent tyre dealer near me that has one I thought I might give it a try, but only if any one has any good feedback to add.

I don't fancy going up to WIM,and was just wondering wether anyone here has had a four wheel alignment done on their Omega with this equipment. I'm interested as I've just had an MOT advisory for slight wear on the inner edges on the front tyres, and as they have done minimal mileage I'm a bit pee'd off at having to replace them so quickly.Any feedback would be much appreciated and iirc didn't someone offer up some alternative settings....could have been Dr G or Chris G

Thank you, cars are still here and have been and are constantly being fettled mechanically by Dr Gollum and of late the world famous Omega Guru Serek, and the bodywork by Blind Bill's Paint Shop....masking up has never been one of his better skills but he gets by

Glad every thing is O.K Mick,I was going to offer you a theory on your eye problem now that the worries have gone.And I think you'll understand this.....I think it's all those years of sleeping on the night shift with one eye on the lookout for the mobile superintendent creeping up on us unannounced...I got caught a couple of times and had to bribe them with a cuppa or two

You only need to check out the Omega owners Face ache pages to see how many Omegas that are regularly up for breaking,and also  Ebay has a large number of Desmonds looking for new homes,and admittingly there is the odd V6 that will  pop up,they tend to end up on the other side of the Irish Sea
