Title: 2005 radio problem
Post by: chrissie-1 on 08 January 2014, 00:12:53
I recently rebuilt my 2002 omega after someone side swipped it, the radio codes up turns on but no sound at all!! As the doors came from an earlier 2000 facelift model could the speakers have caused this problem, any thoughts on this matter would be a great help many thanks

Check none of your speaker wires from the accident damage are trapped or shorted out to ground - if they are, it will mute the stereo

Could the replacement doors have come from a Bose enabled car :-\

And if so, what chaos would that cause?

As Taxi Al suggested, did the doors come from an Elite spec car? As yours is a GLS?
