get your facts straight tunnie i started it but was ignored wenn i said it was to far for me

Where did that come from?  ??? ???

I replied to this:

There were a number of venues suggested but yet again overruled by "higher management"

What?  ???

If people had voted for it and said yes it would have been there, no "higher management" deciding venue, its chosen by the people who want to go!

Its very hard to establish a meet, quite a few have tried before. Had 20 people say yes, but over the time people drop off, and its just a couple of people in the end, sometimes they just fizzle out.

A location has to be chosen which appears suitable for most, one place might be suitable for one person, but not for everyone.

Looks like a location has been picked, once you get one or two meets done, you can think of other locations. But you may have to go somewhere you are not used to help establish a meet.

You also might have to go somewhere "you have been before"  ::)

Do they not have TV's in Wales?  ;D

So hang on you won't drive (how ever many miles it was, 100 say?) to a meet, but will drive 500 for football match?  ::)
