Fault code 19

Hi all,my Omega broke down on me this morning,read codes which gave me the 19,replaced the crank sensor but the 19 is still there,gave it a good 30 mile drive and all seemed to be ok,will the code clear after 20 or so clean starts?...many thanks..Wayne

yes should clear - you can reset with code reader of course

Thanks for reply,i do have a sealey vs8700 code reader,read every car i've tried it on except....yes thats right,mine!,hopefully should be ok then...Thanks..Wayne

Had the same prob yesterday, got new sensor this afternoon so will get it fitted 2nite and see what happens.

Try starting the car before plugging in your Sealey, had the same troble sometime when I had one :y

just noticed it is a 2.5 - readers don't work on them as withother models - there was a post on this last week by The Boy
