Oil leak sorting (Pos camcover gasket)
Rear Dif vibration (poss Oil needs changing or Diff rebuild)

Small rust bubbles on usual door places but nothing at all, but this will be a minter when done.

Also  afew sensors like the header tank sensor and oil pressure sensor as the usual lights are on.

Wheels re furbed and stripe removed.

And tbh thats all the faults, its immaculate  :)

Two questions, what is the switch with the picture of a suspension strut on and the settings S M and C?

Also there is a big bracket hanging underneath the rear shelf. Would this be for a first aid box or something???  :y

This was the standard radio:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Radio-Code-Decode-Service-Grundig-4870-RDS-V_W0QQitemZ120095125354QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP?hash=item120095125354&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1299%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

 The changer was a Grundig MCD10, sorry can't find a piccy of one but if you want one and the Radio your best bet is probably The Autobahnstormers Club :)

             HTH.

  PS.    If your interested I've got a parcel shelf with a integrated Blind for sale :y.

finding one that works properly is another story, the face plates were notorious for playing up, I had 3 on mine throughout the time I had the car. and the sound was avaerage tbh. I still have a pic somewhere of my setup when I sold it on ebay, ill look it out for you.

Grundig 4870 is the head unit. MCD10 is the changer, there isnt any on ebay just now, best bet is try someone with the same spec senny breaking, alternatively the same unit was fitted into the carlton CDX models around the K reg mark.

Theres two buttons on the base of the dash binnacle, one either side of the line of warning lights.  One resets the trip odo and the other converts the dash readout from metric to imperial, if I recall correctly....

Yes christian and bighed  I did join the site.
bighed did you read that that micro dot on that piece of paper you signed?
oh! you have not got a copy what a shame.(free valating for 10years)
Any way a pair of nice guys?
story ,i needed the space and to be perfectly honest i now have not got the go to mess about with cars or don't want to as everything has to be done outside (cold wet oh dear my hands are covered in crap).
what realy got me was that i put it on the senny forum,very little interest shown or nit picking on a 15 year old car,maybe me but can,t be arsed.Christian always liked the car so when we agreed what i wanted off the car New battery tax (come on bighed)and most importantly to me it would still live instead of being trashed,i got my enjoyment out of it but need to move on.I am very pleased with what big head has done to the car the pics must have been taken the nextday/ bit about the oil warnig light? but told all known faults ie coolant level float knackerd.diff oil ,even gave some lsd oil.
Anyway respect to them.
Regards dave

S = sport
M= motorway or something
C= comfort i think it will go to M automatically at around 50 ish

I thought i put a user guide in the glove box if not let me know should have one somewhere (these extras are building up)Tells how to change mph/km don't think you can just change Gals to Ltrs
Quote

Think you can as on one of the above pics shows it in litres and there is a space for litres to be next to gallons on the display  :y

hi Bighed
Chris got book.
When you have changed the engine blood ect take her for a run in sport mode watch out for bends as they don,t slow down much when foot off throttle you could use the shift stick as a manual system (not that i have ever done that when someone has got me *issed off you could probably reach 80 in 2nd not that i would ever do such a thing)
The dual ram works so should get a kick at 4000 rpm.needs a blow out as not been used much over the last few years
