ABS
« on: 02 November 2012, 17:00:20 »

Hei!

Once again i´m looking for advice. Question is: Can one fit a pre-facelift Omega ABS-control unit(the "Brain") in facelift Omega? Are they same?
And where can i find a wiring diagram of ABS for facelift Omega. If i am very lucky(probably noooot :'() then there is only a broken wire or something but i do not want to go "blind" and rip the whole car apart. So if anyone can help-> PM.

Cheers,
Martin

Early pre mini face lift will be different, they're only 3 channel ABS systems whereas the facelift is 4 channel. Miniface lifts are 4 channel systems too, but don't know if they the same as face lift though  :-\

Thanks for reply!

So if i take the ABS-box from lets say 97-98 Omega its plug´n´play? And how about TC and cruise control, does these features have to be in the car that i take the part from or it doesn´t matter?

Cheers,

Martin

Borderline. If last LETTER of VIN is W ot X, the ABS unit should be interchangable, assuming the engine is same.
