You have to watch out with these cheap pattern parts, D (where I have my unit) fitted a NAPA alternator to a Ford and the warning light stayed on. Well known fault apparently as when he got a genuine Ford one the first thing the storeman as was has it got a NAPA fitted!!

We get a visible Aurora in the Uk and I am stuck in India >:(

Thankfully I have seen it a few times in Norway some years ago but still, what's the chances!

The early Chrysler engine is utter junk and drinks fuel so much, when a friend replaced his with a v8 Cayenne, he noticed no change in fuel bills.

Best avoided, the later French engine is better

not enough pressure in the cooling system to push into the oil TBH 15psi water and oil should be 50 + psi

When running yes, but when the engine is stopped, the oil pressure drops to zero pretty quickly and the coolant pressure remains for quite a while, so you do get some 'push back'  :y :y

Ebay. New or 2nd hand.

I bought a 2nd hand starter for my 2.2TDCi Mondeo for £40 about 3 years ago and it's been fine.  :y

Another old Ford with a hefty price tag!  8)
That ended without a single bid.

Ended early by the looks of it, so maybe sold elsewhere.

I need a starter motor for a 2006 Ford Galaxy 2.0l duratorq TDCi.

Where do people source parts nowadays?

I see repeated complaints about ECP but people keep going back for more :-\ They list a 'starline' starter for £123.

GSF list a 'WAI' starter for £82. Never heard of 'WAI' but always been happy with GSF so would be happy to go with that one.

Prices for parts from manufacturers I recognise (Bosch, Valeo, Lucas etc) are somewhat higher............

Went to look at and bought a temporary car pending fixing the S Class properly.

Working MK1 facelift Bini Cooper with almost 6 months MoT.

Needs a few bits addressing, but actually drives quite well for what it is.

Is owing a Benz,, the new Omega something needs fixing weekly.
Nah, that's a Jaaaag.  In the year I've had it TB has had to dismantle his engine twice.
