Omega Elite 2.6 facelift (2003) rear and front springs please, i found the end of one under the car, haven't looked yet to see which one but didn't want to come back and ask the same question again.
Presumably Vx only on these (not aftermarket)

I have the CCR2006 in a 2003 Omega Elite and would like to add DAB radio without losing the functions on the MID that the current radio supplies.
Any pointers/ideas??

Where can i get a towbar fitted with twin electrics without paying £400, i have had 2 quotes so far, anglia towbars and Witter and both were in excess of £400, surely it's not THAT expensive.
Cambridgeshire based in case you wondered.
And its an Omega Elite 2.6 (2003) with parking sensors

Tested out the rain sensitive wipers on my new elite today, first time i have ever used/experienced them.
I have to say i was impressed, did it exactly what it says on the tin...

Omega General Help / Lemforders Bushes

I have read the 'how to' on this, i quite fancy having a stab at this, i have two old wishbones i removed earlier this year, cutting out the old ones seems straight forward enough albeit a PITA, it's the refitting of the new bushes that worries me. Is this a fairly easy task?
Plus, is there anyone on here that supplies the set of bushes or is it good old fleabay?

Omega General Help / LPG Cutting out when windy (solved)

I have found the angle and position of the air intake at the front of the car was suffering when the wind blows from the passenger side of the car, i have temporarily moved the flexible hose so it faces down, i will fit a baffle over the air intake horn to prevent wind blowing in.
Only seems to affect LPG mixer systems but worth mentioning in case anyone gets the same issue.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Is this alternator or battery

When its cold and the car is just started and idling, with the fan on high, heated rear window on and lights on, the alternator light is just barely on, really dimly, if i turn stuff off, it goes out.
Is this a symptom of the car sucking more out of the battery than the alternator is putting back in?
Do i need a new battery or my alternator looking at???

Omega General Help / Really Odd 2.2 cutting out problem

My car has taken to cutting out when it's windy 
As the car is buffeted by gusts of wind you can feel the engine stuttering.
It's fine out of the wind, BTW.
When decelerating, approaching tight bends and roundabouts/junctions, it cuts out unless i tap the accelerator pedal to keep it alive.
Any ideas where to look first?

I have a split pipe, the rubber one at the top of the tube from the lower half of the engine that feeds into the cam cover (crankcase breather?)
Does anyone know the part number and andyc any idea of a price please.

Omega General Help / Help Can't get wishbones off

I'm on the first one, drivers side, undid both large bolts/nuts and removed bolts, undid clamp behind disc where pointy end of wishbone goes in, can't get the damn thing out for the life of me...
Any ideas??

My headlights are a bit pathetic to the point where i have to have the driving lamps on to compensate.
Can i change them (they're model specific standard) to something a bit brighter and what would you suggest?
