Around Hoof'land, it's a permanent airshow,  If it's not BBMF buzzing Wyton, then it's the Yanks, Ospreys, C130, F35 then we get Chinnocks, Black Hawks etc.
Something to do with the Squirrel section at RAF Wyton I've been told.

Was quite this weekend just a couple of spitfires, Last week was Red Arrows and a fly past. 8)

In oldern days you took your HGV1 test on a Friday after 4days training, got a job Friday/Saturday and was catching the boat in Dover on Sunday.

I know before that after 9hrs 18)19 year olds were flying spitfires into combat, different times.
Would I let a modern 18 year old drive a 44ton artic the majority NO,  they struggle with a push bike and road sense, they all think they are entitled to drive like Runts.

Just finished renewal for the Posh Vectra.
The renewal from Hastings was 208. Gone up 8. From last year...
So I just phoned them, stating how comes Insurance for others in the family has gone down with other insurance company,,  so after 15mins as if by magic, it suddenly reduces to 151.25.
Thank you paid and re-insurured...

Typical robbing Bastids, just hoping your lazyness will give them a payment with challenging the price on the letter..

General Discussion Area / Re: Pump action shotgun
« on: 17 August 2021, 07:32:17 »
Not having used a Shotgun for many years, but I do remember when the law changed regarding pump action shotguns, and only allowing 3 cartridges in, all they did was bolted a piece of machine stell into the chamber,to only allow 3 to be loaded,  I will let you work out how, you could return to putting 6/7 cartridges back in.

Also a pump action serves no purpose, if you can't hit a Wabbit with two then give up.

1st question? Will they be keeping the car forever? If no,, then use the coarse bolt with a slot cut in, and some epoxy glue,, whack it in job done.  If it's a long term keeper then do as Nickw has advised.
