Omega General Help / Re: Removing air con system
« on: 29 May 2022, 11:07:21 »
Having driven omega with and without A/C, why would you want no A/C. Doesn't take much to get it working. The 2 major weak spots are the condenser and pipes under the battery tray,

According to the documents  estimated delivery is 30th September 2022.......but may be later.

So about four and a half months if all goes well. Apparently the car is being made /assembled in Mexico. I do hope my car is not being thrown together a a lazy Mexican fast asleep under a sombrero for most of the day. ;D :D

Car prizes have gone crazy, Nissan Skylines are going for upto £100K Lotus Carltons have been offered at £120K :-\

You need to think in 30+ year cycles, the people buying those at them prices were 18-20 year olds, they are now 50+ and have the money to buy their dream cars,
The question is what's going to be worth the money in 30-40 years from now.. It won't be anything with a battery in..It will be the Performance versions, from the manufacturers, GR Toyota, the Big AMGs, BMW,,M, etc and of course Signums.

I think it's nearly correct to cast a bame person as a DR, just look at the majority who work in the NHS, mainly foreigners,or persons of colour,

Opel Manta?  or Ford Capri?  :-\                :)

Maybe this 2.0S Capri is a better comparison than the 2.8i?  :)

Apart from the price that is!  ;D

£14k for the Manta :o  hope it's had new chassis rails.

Not a barn-find because I know it's been there for 20years.,. It's got owl poo and mouse poo, so it's a proper barn find :D
