At my wits end!
Bought my 1st omega yesterday
Knowing drivers door wouldn't open 🙈
On the remote central locking all door pins flick up and down.
On the key in the drivers door all do the same.
However the drivers door will not open. Inside or out. I've had a look and both cable from both handles look fine too
Im unsure what to do bar taking an angle grinder
To the door to get to the lock mech..
Any help would be appreciated
Tia

Take the passenger door latch mechanism out and study it carefully. Takes about 20seconds to get the door open once you know what you need to do.  ;)

Sounds like the door card might have to be sacrificed to get access to the mechanism.

Not at all. There's a perfectly good reference mechanism in the front passenger door.

Some welding rod and removing the weather strip from between the window and door is all that's required :-X

Infact, removing the door card won't help.

Have you tried turning the key and pulling the handl at the same time? Both with a reasonably hard dffort but not so hard that you break something...*

*...like snapping the key in half, firing the immobiliser chip into the gravel drive beneath... For example... Ahem.

I'm not going to publically post any detailed information that can be applied to break into any car.

If the OP applies his brain and the passenger lock mechanism, he can figure it out. If he can't he needs to take the car to someone who can.

If that's mock worthy, crack on :D

Yeah, it's not like it's the oldest trick in the book or anything, practised by 14 year olds up and down the country.   ;D

I'm not sure looking at skin flicks on the internet is going to be of much use.

It fills in the time between breaking into cars.

Quite. Doesn't need me to explain it.

If the OP chooses to cut the door off with a grinder, it will only make the car cheaper when it subsequently gets scrapped.

It's never been quite the same since the introduction of plastic coat hangers.  :D
