My biggest disappointment about this contest is that neither the Conservative or Labour party uttered one single word of support for the teacher from Batley Grammar, or one single word of condemnation for the people who forced him to flee. :-\

As for the teaching unions, they just seemed to stare at their feet like naughty children hoping it would all go away.  :-\

What is their purpose if not to support teachers?
You're wrong. Leadbeater went public with her support, it was all over the local news.

So what has Starmer and the Labour leadership done to make things right?

Very, very little.

I don't blame them they are all shit scared. :)
How would you have 'made things right'?

Not easy, I know.

Perhaps Viktor Orban and Alexander Lukashenko could offer advice. They don't seem to suffer this type of problem for some unknown reason.

Both Boris and Starmer were 'pussies' :-X

You're the man for the job, not me.

You're a pensioner, so have time.
You're married to a teacher who is presumably 'supported' by the teachers union.
You live Barnsleywakefield,  which is just down the road from Batley.

So, dust off your pith helmet, kit your whippet out with battle armour, then get over there and show these dark foreign johnnies not to mess with the British Empire. ::) :P :P

....or, more likely, you could switch on Emerdale and Corrie, enjoy a nice cup of Ovaltine, and forget about the whole thing. :)

I doubt they bother much about covid.....seeing it more as nature's cull of old unproductive people.
