Please dont take this the wrong way;
I dont know if I hate it or like it. I think I like it, except the two spoiler brake lights.
Get rid of the Cone Filter exposed to extremely hot air (The V6 engine bay is toasty) and you'll probably see a performance improvement. :y
-
It is marmite some like some dont. fair enough,
obviously i never put the spoiler on but time will sort that, and as for the filter i thought the same but after a 70mile drive the filter was still pretty cool
-
Looks Good, but think the cone filter removed will help your performance (unless stick a heat shield in there)!! :y :y
-
It's totally marmite, but I like it :y :y

8-)

I like that but there a few thing that i think would look better on your car mate if i may say go for facelift mirrors and colour code them it will look better than the old ones as i think you should of left the black part in the middle black but facelift ones will defo make it better and your exhaust needs to come out a bit sorry if you think i'm picking mate just a thought. :y :y
-
Really like what you've done with the front grille - lovely mod!
Dump that Cone under the lid, dude (don't even bother with a shield) and get an extra feed into the box.
Lovely colour and I see you have a lovely scrape under the front splitter/lower bumper - like mine!
Matthew :y :y

Have you any idea how hard it would be to match the colour of the mirrors? lol

I do mate yeah a mate off mine had a rover done in an alfa colour that changed in different light. Must say it put me off ever having a colour like that i do love'em but not to own i would be forever going mad more than i do now with stone chips super market scratchs and the like. ;D ;D ;D
-
you got nice car there.
where you done your dyno??
and what company done remap
thanks
-
Like it, had mine remapped also a few weeks back and it does make a big difference, just waiting for a certain member to comment now ;D
Anyway well done mate it looks good and probably goes well too
-
Are they holden badges?
-
Are they holden badges?
One on the back yes, don't want to remove it because of the paint. doesn't bother me really.
-
i like it very nice looking omega :y only criticism is the spoiler i would lose it :y

Holes >:(
-
Been a real pain in the arse this week. Battery died on friday then i got a puncture >:( >:(
-
I'd get rid of all the kit so it looks like a fairly bog standard Omega, except for the paint.
I dislike any kind of kit on an Omega as it has fairly bland lines and any kind of kit tends to disrupt the flow.
Plus, 250bhp in a car with "Select" badges on it is much better in my opinion.
Do like the paint job, remarkably good nick for a 16 year old car!

I don't want select badges hahaha.
I take your opinion on board though not everyone will like it.
Hopefully have some new tyres later going for a bit wider 255/35/19

I disagree mate i think the kit looks good and different from the norm of all other omegas. It is all down to different taste. :y

I like to be different, Not usually to others tastes especially not people my own age they'd rather have a saxo with no room and a washing machine motor.

They were still drying lol
-
nice car & cool color :y
-
Have to say I rather like it, particularly the grille and nice set of rims. :y
-
Very disheartening week.
After having to fork out for two tyres I then found out I need to replace..
A cv boot
Wheel bearing
2 link bars
and a tie rod assembly
I decided to see just how bad the cam cover leaks were.......
heres a clue
(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f193/simonr19/257073_2060320913377_1405303567_32302770_7719761_o.jpg)
Only took the one plug out as I was going to replace them, Then realised there was no point so i blew all the shit out and put it back in.
Going to have to wait til i have the cash and just get everything i nees and hope i get a nice bright early start then im going to strip everything off do the cam covers and all the other seals change the plugs and clean all this shitty oil out, i have never seen it as bad as this on anything ive owned before. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Obviously then change the oil and filter.
It runs fine to be honest but now I know the extent of things imagine how much better it will run when i get it sorted. only doing about 8 miles a day so its going to have to wait. the steering issues will be sorted next week.
sigh :'(
-
Still sat up on the drive if anyone's in interested.
-
what is the spoiler off i think it looks well
-
its an irmsher one.
Anyway sun sun sun today and a good clean and some colour spotting.

Thanks, Really appreciate that, Comments like yours make the wallet drain worth it ;D
-
The spoiler looks very much like an Impreza WRX spoiler. I had one fitted to my first Omega about 6 years ago they follow the bootlid line perfectly. I have one in white if anyone's interested :y
-
Tezray, I am interested for spoiler...send me offer on PM... 8-)
-
Mines an irmscher spoiler as I said above...
-
Odd, i've never seen an irmscher spoiler like that before. It looks remarkably like a low level Impreza spoiler to me;

-
Stuning colour :y
-
Stunning car in all respects :y
I love the lower front bumper, oh to have one on mine complete with the side skirts 8-)
I only hope the money tree re-grows, lol
-
really great car mate :y
love to see the first shape cars done up. i think they look meaner than the 2nd shape
-
Thanks guys :y :y :y
-
All fixed now :)
-
I have to say that i love this Miggy. The very fact its unique and quite the reverse of what it was intended to be. Brash and in your face rather than a quiet repmobile :) Proper job :)

Thankyou :)
Anyway really glad to have it running well now. time to concentrate on some more toys, I've still yet to buy the chip i want, thats on the list, followed by a complete new exhaust system including manifolds when I can find someone to make the manifolds, and save up for it done as it wont be cheap. also thinking of getting some HIDS.

Small update in preparation for Hull Motor Show a week on sunday.
Had a bad coolant leak which made my engine bay filthy. Found the cause of that and fixed it, then cleaned my engine bay, Sorted my headlights out and put some antisocial 100w bulbs in. Sprayed my wiper arms gloss black to freshen them up. sorted a few other wiring things out, then polished all my glass. No more scratches :)
Should have a working Mid soon then everything will start coming together :)
