The fld warning strikes again.
« on: 06 May 2013, 17:43:23 »

Hi fellow oofers, swapped out front level sensor with one from breakers, was working for a bit and now the fld warning has come back again. Check the sensor inside looks pristine, all clean no corrosion. What voltage should i get from 3 pin connector and is there a control unit anywhere. Makes my think its a wiring fault, where does the wire run to from the connector. Its a 2.2 cdx 2001.Nice :y

Try and get the headlight levelling codes read. Else you're urinating in a force 9.

There are some clues - do both lights go low when it happens, or just one?

Yep thanks, done a good bit to keep this motor going.Suppose the back could have failed now as well think its a job for tech 2 reader then.At least i would know whats happening, as the lights when you turn them on, raise up, but on the flipside the warning comes on before even turning main light switch on ;D

That would suggest a sensor issue :-\

Have you checked the rear one yet?

Gonna check the rear sensor last time i looked it seemed all ok but arm could have come off. Im presuming that headlight servos are all ok, as when you turn on main lights headlights both move together to highest position in sync with each other but just stops at max height. Put meter on front feed to sensor got 5v. Maybe sensors failed as was secondhand unit. Got this to sort out plus leaking rocker cover and discs, pads to do before next months mot, so she will go through. Will keep you all posted,Thanks  :y
