brake switch auto shift lock out

have changed the brake switch and the solonoid now works on the auto shift 9 times out of ten have also lubricated it so as to stop it sticking, if it continued to play up can i disable the lock out or remove completly would this afect enything else also sometimes ive turned her off and cannot turn key fully and remove what might this be ,is it connected to other problem,when this has happened when i start her i get a message telling me that my traffic master liceance has run out how do i turn that of ? or is that the problem  :-?

I guess a real expert will come along.... :y

But, you can not turn the key to remove it unless the gear selector is in park, as you have a problem with the selector lock I would think they were connected....

Traffic Master, can you just not switch it off, we did on our older estate.... :y

the auto lock out that operates from brake pedal switch is now working fine , regards to being able to remove key till she is in park , looks like the micro switch at bottom of stem that the lift catch drops on maybe defective ? is this so ? :D
