Title: Passed , no advisories.
Post by: Olympia5776 on 27 March 2019, 12:40:38
Flew through the stricter ( thanks eu ) NCT ( MOT) test this morning all Ok with no advisories .
Two of the testers were impressed with it and said that they haven't seen an Omega through their hands for several years now ,probably down to the expensive road tax and throw away irish motorist .
Anyway, took the longer but more pleasant drive home over and through the Kerry mountains on this glorious day.
I don't think I'll ever sell this car ,seventeen years now .

When your head gets full of brexit, Don, take a drive through those beautiful mountains. In fact, take a tent and a weeks supplies.
Well done on the pass.

I Googled Kerry mountains, Albs, and I got several locations, all unknown territory to me. Could you be more specific and/or recommend anywhere, please?

The town of Dingle is a good place to stay ,and explore the dingle peninsula, Conor pass and the wider area. Fantastic scenery in any direction you set of to Ron.
A lovely place, in a hostile state.  ;)

I don't wish to hijack this thread any more, so maybe we could talk about it over a drink sometime, Albs? Also why "hostile state"?

Ok, will do.
Does the hostility mean that English visitors are unwelcome?
