General Discussion Area / #Brexit 1.0
« on: 04 April 2017, 19:29:16 »
#Brexit 1.0 started 450,000 years a go, but negotiations with the EU predecessor, called mother nature, mean't it wasn't completed until 7500 years a go, with the formation of the English Channel. :o :o :o

As there was no vote on this one I'm sure Remoaners, even this late in the day, will be demanding one. ;D ;D ;D

The Freddie Flintstone International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) blew a fuse on this period of runaway global warming, where catastrophic ice melting caused the Arctic ice cap to shrink from the south of London, all the way past the north of the UK and Iceland. Where Freddie Flintstone and his ilk refused to give up their open fires and personal transport, they confidently predicted polar bears would be extinct by 7000 years a go. ;D ;D ;D

General Discussion Area / Lidl meat
« on: 02 April 2017, 20:43:55 »
I often buy their meat special offers as they are very good value and the meat is good. Used up this weekend (one last night and the other tonight) a twin 7.5oz each steak pack for circa £4.50. Lovely 0.75" thick steaks, which my steak knife cut through like going trough butter and they melted in my mouth. :y :y :y

With both of them, spot on with the cooking time so they were medium-rare. :y

General Discussion Area / Bill Browder

Very watchable and well worth watching, interesting interview and documentary with Russian investor Bill Browder, how it changed the world including the fallout and Magnisky Act. The interview is conducted by Grant Williams, on his TV channel, a gold trader who I used to follow and learn't a lot before his news letter was only available behind a paywall.

As the muppets at British Rail obviously didn't, running their normal Saturday service with normal 4 carriage trains, rather than working day 8 or 12 carriage ones. >:( >:( >:(

Going up to London where 82,000 were descending on Twickenham, so the train from Farnborough was standing only and we were packed in like Sardines. >:( >:( >:( Thank you to the young girl who gave up her seat, without hesitation, for the 80 year old I was travelling with. :y :y :y

On the way home where I got to Waterloo at 8:30. Some muppet that needs shooting in front of his family, had thrown a child's chair in front of a train, which shorted between the live line and normal rail, welding itself to the track and damaged the signalling. >:( >:( >:(

Normal informative British Rail were giving their normal helpful advice on when trains would start running again, "don't ask us as we have no idea!". I took a risk catching one of the few that were boarding to Guildford which eventually left at just gone 10pm. Again standing room only as it was full of Rugby fans, so we were all packed in like sardines. With lots of delays, finally got to Guildford at 11pm, so I was able to catch the last train that stops at Sandhurst and get home just before midnight.

Don't you just love public transport. :(

General Discussion Area / What is going on?
« on: 21 February 2017, 19:14:29 »
Anybody any ideas with raised Iodine-131 nuclear radiation detected in Western Europe since mid-January, with speculation it has come from Eastern Europe and now a US WC-135 nuclear sniffer aircraft, which rarely leave the US, has flown to RAF Mildenhall?

General Discussion Area / Trump and Kompromat
« on: 11 January 2017, 00:46:45 »
With an ex-MI6 agent releasing a report on Trumps alleged links with Russia and the alleged FSB/GRU Kompromat on him, it will be interesting to see if he makes it to his inauguration on the 20th of January. ::) ::) ::)

The alleged Kompromat suggests that he really was a golden boy when being entertained by Russian girls. :o :o :o See page 2, para 3 in the report in the link below. :o :o :o

General Discussion Area / Where do you stand?
« on: 08 December 2016, 19:06:02 »
The modern dominant post-fact, post-truth, left-wing MSM only have two categories for political views, Left - one of us, or Far Right - Deplorables. Where do you fit in? :(
