I can't help it if James finds me attractive!  ;D
Ah, but is it the best offer you've had this year?

It was until yesterday!  :-[ :'(  ;D

Yesterday was interesting and got a better off than James  ;) - Sorry but this girl's dad drives a Bentley Continental GT  ;)
So really you just want her dad, not her!  ;D

got the beastie home last night... what a palava though....

Don't need to be coming across police, when I've got steam coming out of all angles and a "just expired" MOT ticket ;D

Thankfully there were too wrapped up with a burning range rover, to worry about me!!

if it's a snapped stud  why change heads??   how hard can it be t pull a stud.....

1) Stud's Snapped nearly flush.. there's no easy option for getting it out.

2) Seems silly to bother getting it out, when I've got spare, lower mileage, known good heads.

3) Car's got a coolant issue, and changing the heads would rule out potential problems with the existing heads and save on pressure testing etc..

4) 2.5 Heads will up my CR.

5) Once the HG's and Oil cooler are done, they're done, saving me any doubt for a long long time

6) May as well do it anyway while timing belt etc is off..

7) I fancy a top end rebuild

;D

Sounds like a plan! Not worked on a V6 for a while, last one i worked on was TB's project v6, i even got a scar from that!! about 2 inches long on my arm... still shows!

Be glad to get this project out the way and tinker on some cars, got my alternator to do, as well as my leccy window button. My dads Central door locking motor has come up as well now!

If you can do wishbones and rocker gaskets, then the Stat is childs play

The only fiddly bit is the coolant transfer pipe, but it's not difficult..
