Disc and pad set is £100 from VX, don't bother with the factors for anything other than rear discs

And be sure to only fit vented discs to the rear

My local VX are useless most of the time i've got to explain what an Omega is. Plus i need them asap. But will give them a shout tomorrow.

That looks like a really good way to bend the chassis rails

Discs aren't too clever either

It's a tough old thing she'll take it if it knows what's good for it 

Aye I'm replacing them, discs and pads from local factors will be around £90-£100

Yep £400 with nearly a full tank in it, I have never. seen an Omega with a full tank before so thought the gauge was broken 

I've been surfing the net looking for pics of it from the plod days although having difficulty 

Watch plenty of Road Wars you might see it

A quick update...

Managed to get the steering idler off without too much bother, and i think while she's in the air I'll do the brakes and an oil change..

a quick question is the oil filter the same type as on 2.2 petrol or different ?

Need to clay mine when the weather picks up . Hope it serves you well 

Just received this clay kit today did the boot lid in the evening just after it stopped raining for a short while was rough now soft and smooth, there was like orange/brown crap on the clay bar just from the boot lid  .

Me thinks you've already done that judging by the clear reflection on that shiny bodywork. 

You'd think so going by the pictures but that's just from a wash with a bucket of water & some car shampoo
