Politely declined.
« on: 28 December 2021, 14:44:39 »

Had an invitation a few days ago to a neighbours house today for drinks & nibbles along with around 10 others, didn't think it was a particularly good idea with the present situation so declined being open & honest about our decision, have heard today that he has cancelled it due to his wife testing positive , that could have gone badly wrong for a few folks.

I dont celebrate Christmas so total peace & quiet from the world for a few days (Apart from a certain person who felt sorry for me, brought me a Christmas dinner & some mistletoe for starters plus deserts ::) ::) ::) 8)) oh and the bonus was some improvement with the TV programs. :y

The thing that amazed me about the invite  is that the host is a recently retired Paramedic !

My daughter has worked with COVID head on during the last 2 yrs .... perhaps your host just feels used to being around it  :-\

What happens if you run out of test kits and can't get any?

Supposed to test at the start of each shift, but no tests kits = no tests.  :-X

You'll be able to buy them - £22 each from C19testing.co.uk. Next day delivery by courier on a working day.

Or use the walk through testing at Gatwick or Luton, or wherever you are at the moment.

Or do what any sensible person does. Lie. If you must dig through the bin and find an old test cassette - is your employer logging cassette serial numbers?

Not paying for Work tests when they are meant to be free.
