It'd be a sparks nightmare.  ::)  ::)

yes the whole thing , thinkin bout it the other day , i thinkin changin head unit to double din screen instead of  fold away screen , and they look ok just wanted to see if any when has done it , i notic the climate controls are different though as long as ive got the wiring diagrams to hand it is not a problem .

It would be a mare to do it properly. Buy a facelift ;D

If you really want a flip out screen - however chavvy they are (:P) - you can get single DIN ones

Who cares about the point?
If you can make it work properly and keep the loom looking standard, that's the work of art  ;)

See, I'd consider doing it the other way - as prefacelift interior is so much better wearing.  That said, still be an utter nightmare, I reckon not worth the effort

I did find that too, much more hardwearing and felt a lot more quality than the facelift dash but, I also found the facelift dash a much better layout and a lot better looking IMO.

Facelift dash much better laid out, looks better, not so 90's but Vx buggered it up with those soft touch coating everywhere.

Apart from slight ware on the door, my facelift interior is not too bad  :)
