It's a pink/peach colour in reality.
There was a picture posted very recently re seconday air injection and which fuse to pull. The test point was clearly visible .... but in a slightly different place.  :y

Dave sorry about the bad pic but is this the right number layout for the test socket?



I have the same socket on my pre-facelift but different location... will post photo of PFL test socket location shortly  :y

Here's the location on PFL migs for the fan test socket... its hidding just beneath the wiring loom adjacent to the mustard coloured relay  ;) see red arrow>>>>

Hi 24_value, the picture you posted is correct.  To make certain, you can check the resistance between pin 6 and earth, it should be 0, as pin 6 IS earth.

Does this just test the connector or does it test the switch?

This connector tests the fans by bypassing the usual switches.  This enables you to eliminate the fans themselves, and all wiring from the fuses down to the relays that switch them, and the wiring from the relays to the fans.  This is assuming that all works ok when you use the connector to test them.  Hope this is a help.
