Immobilizer light flickers when idling
« on: 27 May 2011, 20:36:11 »

Hi all.

New to the forum and looking for some much needed help from experienced Omega owners.

Ive recently purchased a 3.0ltr MV6 Elite Auto that has a leaking rocker cover gasket thats being sorted this weekend.

However earlier today the Electronics / Immobilizer Indicator light has began to flicker on an off on the dash especially when sat in traffic or stood still at a junction or lights and just idling. It dissappears completely when i drive off and get above 20mph or if i increase the revs whilst stood still and performance doesnt appear to be affected.

Can anyone advise.

I would advise that you don`t repeat your question in different sections :). This is your 3rd time of asking and for some reason you deleted the first one. Please be patient and do not expect an immediate reply. :)

I thought it more appropriate to list it in electrics seeing as i made a mistake in listing the initial problem.
