women from the 70's or 80's still manage to look more sensual and provocative than any that are in the media nowadays.no tatts,no stupid pumped up lips and no silly eyebrows. and covered up enough to create a mystery. now nothing is left for the imagination just in your face and vulgar.
and the car is none too bad either. marinas were ok .( fair enough we didnt know otherwise as they were the bread and butter cars) but id still rather drive one now than a current characterless eurobox !

Indeed it has thank God, and in particular now car manufactures recognise two important factors:
1. Women buy, or help choose, an awful lot of cars now so the flashy blond look doesn't hack it
2. No matter how good looking the girl is it does not hide the crappiness of the car, like a Marina!

I'll give her that, she has nice teeth. :y Although she probably hasn't got any teeth now as that must have been way back in 1973'ish. ::) My dad had the superior Ital 1.7HL. If I hoofed it coming out of corners I could get the back end to bounce across the road ...... and I don't mean slide, I mean bounce. I found it quite amusing at the time. ::)

The All-aggro came with the futuristic quartic steering wheel. A very advanced car. ;) Mind you a 1936 farmyard tractor was more advanced than the Marina.

Around here it is women driving SUV's and the like that are THE problem :( :(

When I was young lad if a woman had to drive she would be seen in a Mini, Hillman Imp, Riley Elf, Austin A30. 30BHP was more than enough. These days they want (demand) a minimum of 300 BHP and multiple orgasms. ::)
It seems that driving dog slow cars and 'laying back and thinking of England' just doesn't cut it for the women of 2020.
Allowing them the vote is like opening Pandora's box. :-\

Riley Elf, that brings back memories my aunt had a beautiful grey & cream one when I was a kid , I loved riding in it, she swopped it eventually for a Vanden Plas 4 litre R very flashy at the time.

Yes, mine was a 1.7HL too. That engine had way more power than the chassis could deal with, and that's no endorsement of the engine. It had 78 BHP (or was it 87? can't remember). ;D
I kept cutting bits off the front mud flaps. Eventually, I thought, the body roll won't be severe enough for them to drag on the ground. Wrong! :D
