General Car Chat / Motability Car
« on: 29 March 2017, 19:22:50 »
Hi all.

I was talking with my next door who is disabled due to MS. He is thinking about getting a new car through the motability scheme but doesn't know if it's worth it or not. He'd like some recommendations about which car to go for or should he just buy a car privately?

He's uses a wheelchair and so does his wife occasionally. The car needs to be a decent size obviously.

Has anyone got any experience with the scheme. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

I bought a C5 from a guy near me who used to work at Citroen so it's well maintained. It's a 2 litre diesel.

Yes I know...I know...it's french and rubbish and all that.

Yes I know I'll not have it long...it will catch fire or I will sell it.

I'm moving house you see...

Yes I know I move a lot......

I'm in Cornwall at the moment.

Would a Zafira be a good alternative?

Hi all.

I'm looking for an estate. Would prefer a large engine model if possible. I've got a diesel Renault Scenic which I'll be selling.

Thanks and Merry Christmas. :y

The religion at peace is at war with us, just that most people these days aren't interested. X Factor, Game of Thrones, Farsebook and alike are most of the populous' priorities. Western politician's in response know this and can get away again and again by wringing hands, saying there is nothing we can do, they will never defeat us and make symbolic gestures like lighting candles. :(

The populous don't even bother looking up from their screen of choice where they are too busy watching X Factor, Game of Thrones, Facebook etc. :o

In not many years from now when the religion of Peace have won, the populous, will be too busy watching X Factor, Game of Throne and Farcebook etc as they walk to the required slaughter unit to wipe out all traces of Western civilization and Christianity. :(

Goodbye, the end. :(

You sound like Private Frazer from Dad's Army. We're all doomed! :)

Looking on the bright side though, if terrorists killed 100 people a day in Europe it would take over 2000 years to them all.  :y
