I think a payment to the families of NHS workers who've contracted it on the front line and died would be a good use of some of the fund  :(

Omega General Help / Re: 140 amp Alternator
« on: 15 April 2020, 12:56:13 »
IIRC 140amp alternator was used on 2.6/3.2 engines. They are pig to get ahold.
Well there's one in Liverpool if you need it.  ;D

This was a nightmare to get hold of, it was a bit oily  ;D

I wouldn't have thought plod would be that bothered, if its showing as taxed then ANPR won't ping it so I'd just use it

Omega General Help / 140 amp Alternator
« on: 15 April 2020, 11:37:17 »
Just took the alternator off the V6 breaker and noticed it's a 140 amp, not come across this before as they are usually 120, where they 140 from factory?

Not true.

You need, as a minimum the chip from the key Fob (it's a separate part), the transponder ring (to match the chip), the engine ecu.

Everything else is over complication things.  :y

He's right you know, I sell loads of ecu sets and just supply these bits

Looking for £2700 on  :y

It's a loverly car my friend.

However I am always amused by the phrase

I'm looking for £.....

You can look all you like, but you won't find it in my wallet.

Have you tried under the mattress?

Small things amuse me.

Would have thought this would suit you given the mileage you do NewPod
