Just read some comparisons of IE7 and Firefox 2. I think Firefox 2 wins by a large margin - IE7 seems to be incredibly awkward to use (although still an improvment over IE6) and still full of bugs and security holes.

If you want to be safe, switch now!  ;D

Been using IE7 for a while now & once I got used to it; I like it.
I also use Firefox 1.5.0.7 (no updates available) & don't think there's a great deal in it (security aside!).
Didn't know about Firefox 2, think I'll check it out  ;)

Thanks for the tip TheBoy, I did it and it worked! And just so you don't call me lazy again, I actually went into the trouble of doing the picture for the How2:  ;D

Just be aware, all you firefox fanatics, that firefox had more critical security alerts in the last 12 months than IE....

Don't fall into the Linux users' trap of thinking you are safe and don't need to regularly patch...

Stop it now please. You're all making me paranoid. Just downloaded a free trial of zone alarm pro, think I'll end up buying it.

software firewalls give false sense of security as well.

Learn to use one in your router, assuming it has a decent one. If it doesn't, get a new router. Or a seperate firewall appliance.
