Had a chat with a creationist yesterday. :)
Apparently the world is only a few thousand years old. :)
And there was I thinking the third rock from the sun had been around for yonks. :)

Well, Lizzie. The young lady I spoke to informed me the Earth was the same age as the bible and was 'put there' by the big fella upstairs. :) :-* :-* :-* :-*

Oh yes,it all depends Opti on how you believe God created the Universe and everything in it, with his/her timescale which is totally not in line with ours...................but there starts a very big discussion ;D ;D ;D :-* :-* ;)
As for the Bible, it is only as old as the humans that wrote both the Old Testament and the New Testament, and that opens another massive can of worms!! :o :o ;D ;D :)

Of course the Earth isn't flat or all the water in the sea would run off the edge and we'd have nothing but dry land,therefore it stands to reason that it's slightly dipped towards the middle with the land bits being tall enough to clear the deep bits :D :D :D ;D ;D

I wonder if the young lady in question is aware that the (heavily) edited, transcribed, translated, politically influenced book we have knocking about today bears very little resemblance to the original fictional stories she sets so much store by. ::)

Yep, it is about 2000 years since our 'god' and glorious leader TB launched his super sized version of Sim City. The software is nowhere near perfect after all this time, so now he needs to know if he implements a cull to make the system more manageable with this:
earth = new world;
cull_list = array ();
for (n=0; n<4000000000; n++)

earth->delete_people (cull_list);
or pulls the plug with this:
