No work on cars as on nights at the moment, 5x12 hour shifts done with 3 to go then a quick vote before bed on Thursday. Don't think the Elite has been off the drive since I got back from sunny Scotland on the 3rd June, if it has it must have been a short trip as I have to put some fuel in it soon little van does 50mpg so slummmmming it at the moment

Wanted-Part or information really! Whilst taking the trumpet out i noticed that there is a T part small air fitting fed by small black pipe.I noticed that the right angle rubber part of that has a split in its crutch,can i glue it or does anybody have one available?Many thanks

Get it from the dealers for not a lot of beer tokens, another old one may not last.

Hi

TOUCH WOOD - but - After many initial trials and tribulation my 2.2 Omega is actually running well and I am now approaching 15K miles of use from it in just over 1 year. So much so I've even spent money on trivia like tyres and servicing. Today I have had the aircon re-charged!

Early on in my ownership, I bought and fitted a cruise control stalk intending to track down the necessary software if it didn't work of its own accord. It didn't work of its own accord - but I got so sidetracked with other issues that I forgot all about it......

Feeling a little more confident about the car now I'm looking for someone who has the necessary software and could work the required magic?? Cruise Control and working air-con would make so much difference!

I live in Evesham, Worcs but travel quite a lot around Birmingham and the north - Can anybody out there help me??

Is is illegal to insure a SORN car and keep it on the drive.

I can't see why, if you don't insure it how can you take it for an MoT if needed.

You are right there....if I went to look at it and its as good as claimed, I'd go almost to the price

Even arches look good from pics ....
I think if i lived in west sussex and was now omegaless with a clapped out ford on my drive, Then i would come to my senses And go take a look.

Found the cause of a nasty nearside knock on one of the MV6's.....  droplink had got loose nipped it up and all's quiet again.

Will have to check mine on the estate as I have the same, drop links and rear track control are the only things I have not checked
